Our Story: From Small Business to Global Brand
Cheibear® Pajamas was founded in 2013 by a husband and wife team who shared a passion for comfort and style. Sarah and Bill were shopping for pajamas as a holiday gift, but had trouble finding options that were both high quality and fashionable.
They knew that other women must be looking for the same combination of comfort, luxury, and style in their nightwear. So Sarah and Bill sketched some designs at their kitchen table, sourced the softest fabrics, and recruited local seamstresses to bring their vision to life.
The first collection of Cheibear® Pajamas was an instant hit at holiday markets and local boutiques. Their unique take on loungewear – pairing vintage inspired silhouettes with modern prints – resonated with customers. Within a few years, the small home business had grown into a thriving brand with a global customer base.
As we’ve expanded, our commitment to quality and customer happiness remains the same. Our pajamas are still designed in-house to ensure they capture that perfect balance of comfort and beauty. We partner with family-owned fabric suppliers and manufacturers, many just down the street from our headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee.
